Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Tarangire National Park

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha for breakfast and orientation. Afterward, set off for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant populations and iconic baobab trees.

Spend the day on game drives, spotting wildlife such as lions, zebras, and a variety of bird species. In the evening, check in to your mid-range lodge or campsite for dinner and relaxation, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of nature.

Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world. The journey takes about 3-4 hours, allowing for scenic views along the way.

Upon arrival, embark on your first game drive in the Serengeti. Explore the vast savannahs and watch for wildlife, including the Big Five. After an exciting day, settle into your lodge or campsite for dinner and a restful night under the stars.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Start your day early with a morning game drive to catch the animals at their most active. Return to your lodge for breakfast, then head out for a full day of exploration.

Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park, maximizing your time spotting wildlife and taking in the stunning landscapes. In the late afternoon, you may choose to participate in an optional hot air balloon ride (additional cost) for breathtaking aerial views of the Serengeti. Return to your accommodation for dinner and another night in the wild.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The drive takes about 1.5 hours, and descending into the crater reveals a unique ecosystem teeming with wildlife.

Enjoy a game drive within the crater, where you can spot elephants, lions, and the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch amidst the breathtaking scenery, ascend back to the rim and head to your accommodation near the crater for dinner and relaxation.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park & Departure

On your final day, visit Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its diverse ecosystems and large flocks of flamingos. Spend the morning on game drives, where you may spot tree-climbing lions, hippos, and a variety of birdlife.

After a morning of exploration, enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. In the afternoon, return to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you can transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure or extend your stay in Tanzania.
